Apples are the most widely cultivated tree fruits in the world. They’ve been grown for thousands of years in many historical cultures. Although apples have been the focus of many legends and traditions, the most recognized placement of apples is in the biblical story of the Garden of Eden where they referred to as the forbidden fruit. Apples and other fruits are commonly used as art subject typically placed in a fruit bowl. Our collection of Apple patterns depicts them in natural settings both on the tree and harvested in baskets. Different lighting and backgrounds are used to highlight the apple. Some apples in these patterns are held up in hands and others even have some bites taken out them.

Flamingos are the gregarious wading birds which symbolize the tropical world. These birds are characterized with long thin legs, webbed feet, a plump midsection, downward oriented beak, and of course a marvelous pink tint throughout their bodies. They frequently stand on one foot as they search for suitable food in shallow waters. A well organized collection that brings to life the most recognized works of Paul Cézanne, a French post-impressionist painter. You’ll find landscapes, portraits, and still lifes of which Cézanne shows a mastery of design and an influence towards cubism. Twenty of his most famous works are included from his dark period (1861-1870), Impressionist period (1870-1878), Mature Period (1878-1890), and Final Period (1890-1905).

Baby Face refers to an expression of cuteness commonly associated with youth and appearance. The attributes which describe this effect involve a large head disproportionate to the body, a pleasant small nose, dimples, hairless body, small teeth, small upper and lower jaws, and overall rounded features. Our pattern set contains a collection of photographs of adorable children in a wearing an assortment of clothing (hoodies, sundresses, bathing suits, hats), and props (sunglasses, cookies, rattles), and expressing a wide range of emotions (laughing, surprise, curious, boredom, shyness, crying).

El Greco was considered the architect of the Spanish Renaissance, blending his Greek heritage with his Italian homeland, and Spanish emigration. Kenneth Greene has spent the past 35 years doing photographic studies in contrasts, lines, colors and glimpses of life in a moment of time. When Kenneth photographs people, he captures a feeling for that one moment that really matters in their lives. He may not know what happened just prior to the photo, and he almost certainly won’t know what their lives will be like after that instant he memorializes. He captures that moment in time alone, but it somehow tells their entire life story in a second. I’m looking for the instant the tide recedes and washes over the rocks; the moment a diver propels herself upwards and her feet leave the diving board; or when a couple embraces…just before the waves crash down upon them. These are the moments in life when you hold your breath, wondering what comes next. The former child protective services professional recently retired from San Diego County after working for almost two decades with victims and families of child abuse and violence.Now it is time to pursue my passion full time for art and design.
